In two podcast clips shared by TMZ, Escobar used racial slurs while discussing men and relationship drama.

Escobar’s departure from the show was sudden and unexplained. The series narrator, Iain Stirling, simply announced, “Welcome back to Love Island USA. Yulissa has left the villa.” It’s unclear exactly when Escobar left the show’s Fiji villa, but she was last seen sleeping next to 22-year-old Ace Greene, her chosen pair from the first episode. Interestingly, Escobar coupled up with Greene despite him already being paired with another contestant, Chelley Bissainthe.

There is no confirmation whether Escobar was edited out of the show, which is currently streaming on Peacock. Peacock and NBC News, both part of NBCUniversal, confirmed Escobar’s departure but did not provide specific details about the reason behind it.
