Tara Donovan Appointed Animation Supervisor at Fort York VFX

Fort York VFX is excited to announce that Tara Donovan has joined the team as the animation supervisor. This is part of the studio’s expansion of its animation capacity to work on projects like Paramount+, where the GOAT mascot is gaining global recognition in markets around the world.

Tara has a diverse background in animation, with experience ranging from hand-drawn projects to VFX blockbusters. She has worked on projects like Detective Pikachu, Godzilla vs. King Kong, Justice League, and Stranger Things at top studios like Framestore and ScanlineVFX. Her expertise extends to leading, directing, and supervising teams to create high-quality animation performances.

In addition to her animation work, Tara is a competitive powerlifter and an active member of the Montreal board of the Visual Effects Society. Her passion for animation shines through in her ability to develop dynamic and creative teams, whether in a remote or hybrid work environment.
