ESPN DTC Streaming Service Price Set at $30/Month
Sports fans everywhere have exciting news – ESPN is launching a brand new streaming service later this year. The service, which will be called ESPN just like the network, will offer two different pricing tiers: around $30 a month for the unlimited plan, and $12 a month for the “select” tier. If you prefer to pay annually, it’ll be $300 or $120, respectively.
The higher tier will give you access to all the live sporting events broadcast on any linear ESPN channel. But don’t worry, if you opt for the lower tier at about $12 per month, you’ll still get access to content from ESPN+ along with a whole bunch of other exclusive shows, on-demand replays, and original content.
The best part is, you can bundle this new ESPN streaming service with Disney+ and Hulu, both with or without ads. The launch date of the service is set to be announced this summer, so stay tuned for more details.
In other news, back in January, Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery scrapped their plans for a joint sports streaming service. It looks like ESPN is taking the lead in providing sports fans with the content they crave.
Disney shares are on the rise, showing positive momentum for the sixth consecutive session. Keep an eye out as we approach the launch date for the new ESPN streaming service – it’s going to be a game-changer for sports enthusiasts everywhere.
