Prime Video orders ‘Creed’ TV series ‘Delphi’ produced by Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society is bringing a new TV series to Prime Video set in the world of “Creed.” The show, called “Delphi,” will focus on young boxers at the Delphi gym. This exciting announcement came during Amazon’s recent upfront presentation.

Heading up the series as showrunner is Marco Ramirez, known for his work on “The Defenders” and “Daredevil.” Ramirez will also be an executive producer alongside Jordan, Liz Raposo from Outlier Society, and the team at Winkler Films.

“Delphi” is set to debut exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. However, the release date and casting details are still under wraps.

For those unfamiliar, the “Creed” series is a spin-off of the iconic “Rocky” films, focusing on the son of Apollo Creed. With three successful films already released, including “Creed III” in 2023, which marked Jordan’s directorial debut, the franchise has been a hit. Jordan has starred in the films and been behind the scenes as a producer, as well. It’s a family affair with the Winkler family producing all three movies.

Ramirez, the showrunner for “Delphi,” also created the Hulu series “La Máquina,” which followed an aging boxer’s journey. His impressive resume includes work on TV shows like “The Twilight Zone,” “The Defenders,” and a long list of other popular series.

“Delphi” promises to bring a fresh perspective to the beloved world of “Creed,” and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly-anticipated series!
