Yellowjackets Fan Favorite Cast in Serial Killer Teen Comedy

Exciting news for fans of Ella Purnell! A new teen comedy called Hot Ted is in the works featuring Ella Purnell, Billy Magnussen, and Ariana Greenblatt. Although not a horror movie, Hot Ted has some horror elements, with a storyline revolving around a potential serial killer that the main character is trying to uncover.

The film is set to be directed by Hannah Levy in her feature directorial debut, with Grace McLeod penning the script. The movie is being produced by Billy Magnussen, Shane Andries, Anne Hollister, Javier Chapa, and Phillip Braun. Purnell will not only star in the movie but also serve as a producer. Executive producers include Morgan Cano-Long, Robert Muñoz, Dave Bishop, James Pugh, and George Hamilton, with Protagonist Pictures handling worldwide sales.

Described as a mix of Mean Girls and American Psycho, Hot Ted follows Zoe, a true-crime podcast enthusiast, who becomes suspicious when a camp counselor goes missing. She suspects Ted, another counselor, could be involved despite his charming exterior. Greenblatt plays Zoe, Purnell portrays Amy, and Magnussen takes on the role of Ted. These are the only actors attached to the film so far.
