Elisabeth Moss Shares What She Took from ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Set: “I Looted the Place”

Elisabeth Moss recently shared some fun tidbits about her time on the set of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” As the show came to its final season, Moss revealed that she didn’t leave empty-handed. In fact, she joked with The Hollywood Reporter about “looting the place.”

Moss mentioned that she snagged a full-set handmaids costume as a souvenir. She humorously added, “I don’t know what I’m going to do with it, it’s not like I’m going to wear it.” She also mentioned taking a Scrabble board and a variety of other items. It seems like she wanted to hold onto as much as possible, saying, “I took as much as I could; don’t tell anyone!”

Her co-star, Yvonne Strahovski, also chimed in with her own keepsake – Serena’s leather finger, which she deemed a “winner.” Meanwhile, Madeline Brewer opted to take Janine’s eye patch, noting that she quickly left the set by grabbing her stuff and getting out of there.

Even co-showrunner Eric Tuchman couldn’t resist taking home a handmaids costume from head to toe. He playfully mentioned that he plans to keep it in his closet.

In addition to the light-hearted anecdotes, the cast also touched on the significance of releasing the final season during the current political climate. All in all, it seems like the cast made sure to have some fun mementos from their time on the show before bidding farewell.
