Dr. Phil’s Media Company Merit TV Appoints New CEO

Dr. Phil’s media company, Merit TV, has a new CEO in town! Ken Solomon, who used to lead the Tennis Channel, is stepping into the role. Fun fact – he and Dr. Phil, also known as Phil McGraw, are actually tennis buddies!

Ken Solomon joined Merit TV after advising the company since its start. In his new gig, he’ll be teaming up with Joel Cheatwood, the executive VP and COO, to help grow the business. What does Merit TV offer? Think talk shows, news, true crime, and even some live sports.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Solomon shared that he and Dr. Phil love chatting about the business, thinking about the future, and being ahead of the game. And when it comes to Dr. Phil, he’s all about helping people in a fun, folksy way while staying true to the facts.

Dr. Phil hosts the flagship primetime show on Merit TV, surrounded by other programs led by TV pros like Nancy Grace and Steve Harvey.
