Canyon Creative Launches Exciting New Streaming Platform

Canyon Creative has launched a new streaming platform called CAM PLAY, bringing the best projects from Grand Canyon University’s College of Arts and Media directly to your screen. Just like Netflix or Hulu, but with a GCU twist, CAM PLAY showcases student work in film, music, dance, theater, and esports for audiences to enjoy on-demand.

Associate professor of design Chris Murphy saw the need for a platform to showcase the incredible films and productions made by students in these programs. CAM PLAY is the perfect solution to ensure that every project gets the attention it deserves long after the final curtain falls.

From short films to guest speakers, CAM PLAY features a wide variety of projects that students produce throughout the academic year. With easy navigation, viewers can explore specific departments, programs, and clubs to find the content they love.

For future students and families, CAM PLAY provides a glimpse into the creative world at GCU. Prospective students can get a feel for the thriving programs and clubs by watching interactive videos created by current and past students. And families who couldn’t make it to a performance or screening can catch their student’s big moment from afar.

Tonight, CAM PLAY will kick off with a livestream of the College of Arts and Media’s “Thursday Night Live” event. Led by audio engineering professor Andy Zulla, this exciting show will feature comedy, film, music, and dance segments, bringing together all the creative forces in the college.
