The Hoosiers had a tough week, losing close games to Maryland and Purdue in the final seconds. On a brighter note, the IU women’s basketball team secured a critical victory against Washington. Additionally, former Hoosier Trayce Jackson-Davis was selected to the Rising Stars event at the NBA All-Star weekend. We also have updates on podcasts, weekly shows, and other IU sports.
In their game against Maryland, the Hoosiers had a late lead but failed to close out the game effectively, resulting in a 79-78 loss. The story was similar in their game against Purdue, where they fell 81-76 after another late collapse. Despite these losses, the IU men’s team still has a strong roster and hopes to bounce back in their upcoming games.
On the women’s side, IU secured a crucial win against Washington thanks to a clutch performance in the final seconds. Led by Sydney Parrish and Yarden Garzon, the team is currently on the right side of the NCAA bubble.

In podcast news, Podcast on the Brink and Back Home Network shows provided insightful discussions on the Hoosiers’ season. Meanwhile, IU sports teams like water polo, wrestling, swimming and diving, track and field, and tennis have been actively competing with mixed results.
