Saturday Night Live Docuseries Coming to Peacock for 50th Anniversary
Peacock is set to celebrate Saturday Night Live’s 50th season with a special docuseries called SNL 50: Beyond Saturday Night. This four-episode series, premiering in January, will take a deep dive into the history of the iconic show. With contributions from over 60 individuals, including SNL alumni, the docuseries will explore auditions, the writers’ room, memorable sketches, and the crucial 11th season.
Executive produced by Morgan Neville, known for his work on documentaries like 20 Feet From Stardom and Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, each episode will have a different director, offering fresh perspectives on the beloved late-night institution. Fans can look forward to all four episodes dropping on January 16th exclusively on Peacock.
