Peacock is set to release a new true crime docuseries this month, focusing on the infamous serial killer Richard Ramirez, also known as the Night Stalker. Ramirez terrorized Greater Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay areas of California from 1984 to 1985, leaving a trail of violence, burglary, and sexual assault in his wake.

The upcoming series, titled Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker Tapes, will feature over 25 hours of never-before-heard audio recordings, along with interviews with friends, family, and even Ramirez’s wife. The docuseries aims to delve into Ramirez’s dark past and explore what might have driven him to commit such heinous crimes.

Viewers can expect to hear from women who were impacted by Ramirez, including victims’ family members and former friends. Interestingly, the series will also feature Ramirez’s niece speaking out for the first time in a documentary about her notorious uncle.

The docuseries will touch on Ramirez’s troubled childhood, influences, and delve deep into the mind of a brutal serial killer. While the crimes committed by Ramirez were truly horrifying, his capture was a moment of justice and closure for many. Recognized from a wanted poster, Ramirez was chased down by a group of passersby and ultimately caught by the police.

Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker Tapes is set to premiere on Peacock on December 10. Fans of true crime and those interested in exploring the twisted mind of a killer won’t want to miss this chilling two-part series.
