Prime Video Unveils ‘Cross’ and ‘Secret Level’ at New York Comic Con
Prime Video has exciting plans for this year’s New York Comic Con in October. The streaming service will be showcasing two new series at the convention, promising to unveil breaking news and exclusive content to fans.
One of the featured shows is “Cross,” a series that brings to life James Patterson’s popular crime novels centered around D.C. homicide detective and forensic psychologist, Alex Cross. The show stars Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, alongside Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Ryan Eggold, and showrunner Ben Watkins. The storyline follows Alex Cross as he confronts a sadistic serial killer while grappling with a mysterious threat from his past that endangers his family and career. Fans can look forward to an engaging mystery thriller with a stellar cast and intriguing plot twists.
The “Cross” panel is scheduled to take place on the Main Stage on Friday, October 18 from 4:15pm to 5:15pm. Additionally, the panel will be livestreamed on the NYCC website, allowing viewers to participate in the excitement remotely.
Another anticipated series is “Secret Level,” an animated anthology that presents 15 original short stories set in various video game worlds. The show offers a unique storytelling experience, with each episode delving into a different gaming universe. Fans can join the creators of “Secret Level,” including Tim Miller (known for “Love Death + Robots”) and supervising director Dave Wilson, as they provide exclusive insights, showcase footage, and discuss the upcoming series. The “Secret Level” panel is set to occur in Room 405 on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in the world of gaming through captivating narratives and visually stunning animations.
