The director and executive producer of “Section 31” is Olatunde Osunsanmi, known for his work on “Star Trek: Discovery.” Craig Sweeny wrote the screenplay and serves as an executive producer alongside the production team led by Alex Kurtzman and Secret Hideout, known for their work on “Discovery,” “Picard,” and “Strange New Worlds.”
