French-Canadian Series ‘Le Clan’ Being Developed for Peacock (Exclusive)

Robert Munic and Teton Ridge Entertainment are adapting the French-Canadian series Le Clan for Peacock, and it’s going to be retitled Stoic Ridge. This modern Western drama is all about loyalty, betrayal, and the struggle to escape the past. Imagine this: after spending years in witness protection, a reformed criminal named Jacob Morris has been living a peaceful life as a rancher, husband, and father in a small town in New Mexico. But things get shaken up when his crime boss father and brother are released from prison, throwing his two worlds into chaos. Now, he has to protect his new family from the one he once betrayed.

Robert Munic, known for his work on “Powerbook IV: Force,” will be the showrunner for Stoic Ridge. Joining him as executive producers are Jillian Share, Jen Gorton, Guy Stodel, and Joanne Forgues. The series is being developed by UCP and Teton Ridge Entertainment, and we can expect some captivating storytelling on the horizon.

The original French-Canadian series, Le Clan, created by Joanne Arseneau and produced by several production companies, was a hit in various technical categories, receiving accolades for its cinematography, sound, and set design.
