Upcoming Jewish TV Shows to Watch in April 2026

It’s April, and as we finish up our Pesach leftovers, there’s a whole bunch of Jewish and Jew-ish TV and movies set to stream this month. Let’s break it down for you!

April 4 kicks things off with “Merrily We Roll Along” on Netflix. It’s a musical based on a play by Jewish playwrights George S. Kauffman and Moss Hart, starring Daniel Radcliffe. And did you know there’s a movie version in the works starring Paul Mescal, Ben Platt, and Beanie Feldstein?

Next up, on April 8, we have season 5 of “The Boys” on Prime Video. This is the final season of the show, created by Jewish TV genius Eric Kripke, with some exciting returns and new stars like Daveed Diggs.

Then, on April 9, we have “Big Mistakes” on Netflix, starring Dan Levy. It’s a bit of a mixed bag in terms of Jewish content, but Levy is always a treat to watch. And hey, who can resist a show about disorganized organized crime?

April 9 also brings us the final season of “Hacks” on HBO Max, starring Jean Smart and Jewish Emmy Winner Hannah Einbinder. It’s been a great ride, and we’re excited to see how it all ends.

On April 13, we have “Noah Kahan: Out of Body” on Netflix, a documentary following musician Noah Kahan on tour and in the making of his new album. It’s a personal journey with a lot of heart and humor.

April 17 introduces us to “Roommates” on Netflix, a coming-of-age movie starring Sadie Sandler. The Sandler family really knows how to bring the laughs, and this movie looks like a blast.

April 23 brings us the second season of “Running Point” on Netflix, starring Max Greenfield and Kate Hudson. It’s a basketball comedy with a touch of romance and a whole lot of Jewish charm.

So there you have it – a month full of Jewish TV and movies to enjoy. Grab your popcorn and get ready to stream!
