Netflix Opens Office in Warsaw After a Decade of Operations in Poland

Netflix has officially opened an office in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, 10 years after launching operations in the country. Greg Peters, Netflix’s Co-CEO, was present at the grand opening.

Back in 2022, Netflix established its first office in Poland, followed by a technology hub in 2023—the only hub of its kind outside the U.S. This new facility is home to around 300 employees overseeing both operations.

Peters expressed his excitement about Poland’s creative talent and the innovative work being done by engineers to enhance the production and delivery of films and series to a global audience of over 500 million viewers. Netflix’s 2026 content slate for Poland includes shows like “Love Is Blind,” “Anesthesia,” and “The Doll.”

Since its launch in 2016, Netflix has produced and licensed more than 700 movies and TV shows. The Polish slate alone consists of over 80 original productions, contributing over $800 million to Poland’s GDP. Through collaboration with 40 production companies, Netflix has provided thousands of job opportunities to cast, crew, extras, and day hires in the region.

The expansion of Netflix’s operations in Poland bodes well for the future of entertainment in the country. With a track record of bringing engaging stories to audiences, Netflix continues to make a mark in the vibrant media landscape of Central and Eastern Europe.
