Netflix series canceled after 1 season: creator’s 5-year plan revealed
Netflix fans were left disappointed when the streaming giant recently canceled the sci-fi anime series Terminator Zero after just one season. The creator, Mattson Tomlin, shared his five-year plan for the show and expressed his disappointment that the show wasn’t able to continue. Despite the positive reception from viewers and critics, the show didn’t attract enough viewership to warrant a renewal.
Tomlin revealed that he had plans for the series to continue into a second and third season, focusing on the Future War storyline he had outlined. However, he mentioned that he was satisfied with how the series concluded and that he may revisit the world of Terminator Zero in the future in a different form.
Netflix offered Tomlin the opportunity to release a few more episodes to wrap up the story, but he declined, feeling that the story he wanted to tell was much longer. Despite the cancellation, devoted fans of the series have expressed their disappointment and hope that another streaming service might pick up the show for a second season.
Terminator Zero is not the only series that Netflix has recently canceled after a short run. Other shows like The Abandons and The Vince Staples Show also received the axe, leaving fans surprised and questioning the streaming platform’s decision-making process. Despite the cancellations, fans continue to hope for the revival of their favorite shows and express their disappointment when they are abruptly canceled.
