Survivor 50 Cast Reveals Most Skeptical Player for Landmark Season

The highly anticipated 50th season of Survivor is almost here, and the cast has already dished out some surprising revelations. Host and executive producer Jeff Probst unveiled the lineup for the upcoming season, titled “In the Hands of the Fans,” in May 2025 on CBS Mornings. Fans can expect to see familiar faces from past seasons, including some fan favorites.

As the premiere date of February 25 approaches, the cast members recently shared their thoughts on their fellow competitors in an interview with People. One player, in particular, has raised eyebrows among the cast: Kyle Fraser. Fraser, who emerged victorious in season 48 with a final jury vote of 5-2-1, securing the $1 million prize, left many wondering why he chose to return so soon. Cirie Fields, a four-time Survivor player, expressed her surprise, saying, “Kyle, why? You just won yesterday! The ink ain’t even dry on your check yet. What are you trying to prove, Kyle? That makes you public enemy No. 1 for me.”

Several other cast members from season 48 echoed similar sentiments about Fraser’s swift return. Kamilla Karthigesu, who finished fourth on season 48, expressed disappointment, saying, “I am upset that Jeff did not disclose [that Kyle was returning] when he asked me, ‘Do you want to come play 50?'” Joe Hunter also shared his perspective, stating, “It’s like I was on national television, and Kyle gave me a wedgie, and then Kamilla came up and pulled it over my head…I won’t come after them, but how could I trust them?”

For those unfamiliar with the show, Survivor follows a group of contestants divided into tribes based on the season’s theme. Stranded on an island, they must survive by building shelters and foraging for food while competing in mental and physical challenges. Each week, contestants are eliminated through a tribal vote until only one remains, who is crowned the Sole Survivor and awarded the $1 million prize.

Another intriguing contestant in season 50 is Mike White, known for creating The White Lotus. White previously competed on Survivor’s 37th season, where he finished in second place. Despite his success, he expressed a desire to return, leading to his inclusion in the milestone season.

With the premiere just around the corner, fans can look forward to an exciting season filled with drama, alliances, and unexpected twists. Don’t miss Survivor’s milestone season when it airs on CBS on February 25th.
