Popular SNL alum launches new Netflix podcast series

Former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson is making a big splash with a brand new video podcast series coming to Netflix. “The Pete Davidson Show” is scheduled to debut on Jan. 30 at 3:01 a.m. ET.

According to Netflix, the show will feature Davidson chatting with his famous friends in candid conversations right from the comfort of his garage. And get this, the new dad (congrats on the baby girl with model Elsie Hewitt, Pete!) is even planning to take the show on the road for some episodes.

In a recent chat with Netflix’s Tudum publication, Davidson shared his excitement, saying, “It’s me and my friends talking about anything and everything. It’s going to be a great time.” This isn’t his first rodeo with Netflix, as the podcast marks his fourth collaboration with the streaming service, following two successful stand-up specials and “Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends.”

The series will be produced by Above Average President Marc Lieberman and Ayala Cohen, with Sarah Brennan Kolb taking the director’s seat. This exciting project comes on the heels of Davidson’s last venture, the Peacock dramedy “Bupkis,” which aired back in 2023.

Having made a name for himself on “Saturday Night Live” when he joined the cast in 2014 at the youthful age of 20, Davidson has been a standout talent ever since. As we eagerly await the premiere of “The Pete Davidson Show,” Netflix has kept us in suspense by not revealing which guests will make appearances on the series. Anticipation is building for what promises to be an entertaining and revealing podcast experience.
