time to produce, and the pandemic has certainly made things more difficult. But I fear my interest in these shows has waned to the point of no return. Watching content should be a relaxing experience, not a chore. So, dear streaming overlords, can we please find a way to keep momentum going, even if it means breaking seasons up into smaller chunks and releasing them more frequently? The annoying scrolling experienceI know this one sounds silly, but it’s a real issue for me. I have so many streaming services and so many shows in my queues that it can be overwhelming to find something to watch. And, no, I don’t want to rely on algorithms to tell me what they think I’ll like. They’re wrong more often than not. So why not introduce a feature where I can filter my queues by genre, release date, or even by mood? And, for the love of all things holy, can we please have the ability to create playlists or watch parties with friends across different services? The way I see it is if I’m going to be spending hours of my life watching TV, the least the streaming services can do is make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. Are you listening, streaming gods? A little change could go a long way in making the streaming experience more user-friendly. Let’s make 2026 the year of viewer empowerment!
