“Peacock Announces 124 New Releases for January 2026: Top 3 Shows to Watch”

Peacock is gearing up to add a whopping 124 new TV shows and movies to their lineup in January 2026. Here are my top three picks for what to watch next month:

First up is “Ponies,” a thrilling espionage series set to debut on January 15th. Starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson, the show follows two U.S. Embassy secretaries in 1977 Moscow who transition into CIA operatives after the mysterious deaths of their husbands. Their investigation into the deaths unveils a massive KGB conspiracy, putting their own lives at risk. If you’re into spy thrillers with a Cold War backdrop, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Next, we have “The Traitors,” a reality/competition series premiering on January 8th. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show features Z-list celebrities competing for cash prizes in a Survivor-like game where some players are secret traitors plotting to ‘murder’ other contestants. While this may not be my cup of tea, it has garnered quite the social media buzz and might be worth a watch if you enjoy a dramatic game show.

Last but not least, “Twisters (2024)” is a high-octane action/drama movie set to release on January 15th. This remake of the 1996 film “Twister” stars Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones as rival storm chasers. With impressive CGI effects and strong performances from the cast, this film promises plenty of excitement and will be available in 4K for an immersive viewing experience.

In addition to these highlights, Peacock will be adding a variety of movies and shows throughout January. From classics like “The Shining” and “The Shawshank Redemption” to newer releases like “House of Gucci” and “Freaky,” there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So mark your calendars and get ready for some great content coming to Peacock next month!
