Gerard Butler Stars in Greenland 2: Migration Trailer

Lionsgate Films just dropped an exciting new trailer for the upcoming movie Greenland 2: Migration, featuring Gerard Butler in the lead role! The movie is directed by Ric Roman Waugh and is set to hit theaters on Jan. 9.

In case you missed the first film, Greenland, released during the 2020 pandemic, it raked in over $50 million at the box office. In this sequel, Butler stars as John Garrity, a structural engineer who tries to escape Atlanta with his wife Allison (played by Morena Baccarin) and diabetic son Nathan (played by Roger Dale Floyd) as a comet threatens to devastate the planet. They venture out of their safe Greenland bunker to search for a new home in a post-apocalyptic world.

The new trailer gives us a glimpse of the survivors trying to find safe zones with clean air and water, all while dealing with the challenges of a planet in turmoil. The film promises to be an exciting ride, with a stellar cast including Amber Rose Revah, Sophie Thompson, Trond Fausa Aurvåg, and William Abadie.
