Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson headline Netflix Christmas Day NFL events

Snoop Dogg brought some serious holiday spirit to Netflix’s NFL Christmas Game Day with his awesome halftime show. The rapper’s “Holiday Halftime Party,” which streamed live during the Detroit Lions-Minnesota Vikings game, featured a mix of his classic hits and festive Christmas tunes.

The show kicked off with Snoop’s longtime friend Martha Stewart reading a special Christmas story. Then, Snoop Dogg appeared on the football field alongside a marching band, backup singers, and a choir, all decked out in red and white. The choir sang alongside Snoop as he rocked a long red coat, getting everyone in the holiday spirit.

Dressed in a dazzling white outfit, Clarkson descended from the sky in a sleigh to sing in front of a massive Christmas tree on a snowy football field. Fans cheered her on while cheerleaders and NFL players showcased their moves during the performance.

It wasn’t just the music that was a hit on Netflix that day—last year, Beyoncé rocked the halftime show with tracks from her “Cowboy Carter” album, attracting a whopping 65 million viewers between the two games. And this year, all these amazing performances aired just ahead of Netflix dropping the final episodes of “Stranger Things.”
