Erotic Thriller Genre Revival: Peacock Adds Mandy Moore Series ‘Teach Me …’ to Trend
It seems like there’s been a resurgence of the erotic thriller genre recently, with a bunch of new and exciting projects hitting the scene. From TV shows to movies, the genre is making a comeback with some big names attached.
Peacock is joining the trend with a new series called Teach Me, featuring Mandy Moore. The show follows a teacher who holds power over a student, exploring the blurry lines between sex, power, and addiction. It sounds like it’s going to be a gripping watch!
But Peacock isn’t the only one jumping on the bandwagon. Netflix has its own series in the works called Hancock Park, starring Regé-Jean Page. This show delves into desire, deceit, and obsession in the picture-perfect setting of Los Angeles.

On the film side of things, there’s a collaboration between Gillian Flynn and Darren Aronofsky for an original erotic thriller movie at Sony Pictures. And there’s Fixation, a thrilling tale of lust, lies, and manipulation, produced by Bruna Papandrea.
