Top 15 Trending Gay Characters on Streaming Platforms

Queer representation on TV is more important than ever, especially with some shows getting the axe. While Mid-Century Modern and Our Flag Means Death may have ended, there are still some gems out there with eye-catching characters. Today, we’re diving into the most attractive gay characters you can stream right now.

Starting off our list is Sandy Gordon from ‘Running Point’ on Netflix. Played by Drew Tarver, Sandy is the CFO of a basketball team and certainly easy on the eyes. However, his intense focus on work leads to relationship troubles with his charming dog groomer partner.

Next up is Malcolm from ‘English Teacher’ on FX, played by Jordan Firstman. Malcolm is the supportive boyfriend of Evan (Brian Jordan Alvarez), though he has to put up with some of Evan’s stubborn behavior. Firstman is gaining recognition for his work and can also be seen in the new series, I Love LA.

In Netflix’s ‘Boots,’ Miles Heizer plays Cameron Cope, a closeted teen entering the Marines. Heizer’s captivating blue eyes steal the show, but the Pentagon had criticisms for the series, calling it “woke garbage.”

Chris Perfetti portrays Jacob Hill in ABC’s ‘Abbott Elementary,’ a dedicated history teacher who goes above and beyond for his students. Despite getting into some sticky situations, Jacob’s passion and care for his students shine through.

And last but not least, we have John Macmillan as Laenor Velaryon in HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon.’ While Laenor is undeniably attractive, we had to bump him down our list due to those questionable wigs on the show.

These characters bring diversity and representation to our screens while also giving us some serious eye candy. So, grab some popcorn and start streaming to catch these captivating gay characters in action!
