Prince William opens up about his emotional experience losing Queen Elizabeth II
Prince William recently shared his heartfelt feelings about missing his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, three years after her passing. The Prince of Wales spent time with Eugene Levy, exploring Windsor Castle and reminiscing about the late monarch’s favorite spots.
In a preview of their conversation on the upcoming episode of Apple TV+ series “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy,” William expressed his emotions, saying, “I do miss my grandmother, and my grandfather.” He reflected on the changes in the royal family following Queen Elizabeth’s death, highlighting the significance of Windsor for him as it held many memories of his grandmother.
Throughout her reign, Queen Elizabeth spent most of her time at Windsor, especially during the later years of her life. This historical castle was a special place for her, and the late Prince Philip’s role as a ranger in Windsor Great Park added to the family’s connection to the estate.
Levy’s series features a lineup of special guests, including Michael Bublé and Sarah Levy, with new episodes premiering weekly until the finale on Oct. 31. The episode with Prince William’s visit to Windsor Castle will be available on Oct. 3.
