Iconic Horror Movie Series Arrives on Peacock for Halloween
October is shaping up to be a spooky month on Peacock as the platform prepares to release a collection of iconic horror movies just in time for Halloween. Starting on October 1, 2025, you can stream a slew of the Leprechaun films, featuring the mischievous and malevolent creature played by Warwick Davis.
The lineup includes not only the original Leprechaun movie from 1993, directed by Mark Jones, but also its sequels: Leprechaun 2 (1994), Leprechaun 3 (1995), Leprechaun 4: In Space (1997), Leprechaun in the Hood (2000), and Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003). Davis reprises his role in all six films, except for “Leprechaun: Returns” in 2018, where Linden Porco takes over.
For those eager to catch up on the Leprechaun story, “Leprechaun: Origins” is currently available to stream on Plex, and “Leprechaun Returns” is available on Fubo and YouTube TV. Fans can also look forward to the first three Friday the 13th movies landing on Peacock the same day as the Leprechaun series.
While plans for another Leprechaun movie were announced in 2023 with director Felipe Varga, it’s unclear if the project is still in the works since it was last reported that Vargas would no longer be at the helm of the film. A new director has yet to be named.
Get ready for a horror-filled October on Peacock with the arrival of the beloved Leprechaun franchise. Don’t forget to check out these classic movies for a spooky movie night in!
