Real Estate Star Serhant to Launch Offices in Rhode Island

Ryan Serhant, known for his role in the real estate series “Owning Manhattan” on Netflix, is now expanding his reach with the launch of a national real estate firm called Serhant. With offices already established in major cities like New York, Washington, D.C., and Boston, Serhant is now gearing up to open offices in Rhode Island next month.

But Serhant is not just another real estate celebrity. He is positioning his firm as a tech-driven platform that utilizes AI technology to enhance the real estate experience. In fact, his company raised over $45 million in venture funds in December and has already set up offices in 11 states, with Rhode Island becoming the 12th state on the list.

In preparation for its Rhode Island debut, Serhant’s company officially established itself in the state in mid-August. Already, 24 realtors have joined the brokerage, as listed in the MLS realtor affiliations.

Recent national news revealed that Compass is acquiring Anywhere Real Estate, creating disruption in the industry. Anywhere, based in Madison, New Jersey, owns well-known real estate brands like Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, and Sotheby’s International Realty. The outcome of this acquisition is still uncertain, with questions around regulatory clearances and how Compass will manage the various brands under its umbrella.

Amidst this industry upheaval, Serhant and his team are poised to offer something different – what they call a “Brokerage 3.0.” They aim to disrupt the traditional real estate model and empower agents through technology and meaningful connections, creating a unique and innovative approach to real estate brokerage.

As the real estate landscape continues to evolve, Serhant’s entry into the Rhode Island market comes at a time of change and opportunity, providing a fresh perspective in a rapidly shifting industry.
