Millie Bobby Brown Set to Portray Kerri Strug in Netflix Film ‘Perfect’

Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, is on the verge of playing Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug in a new film called Perfect for Netflix. The movie, directed by Gia Coppola, will focus on the U.S. women’s gymnastics team’s incredible success at the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.

The script for Perfect is written by Ronnie Sandahl and is set to be a captivating portrayal of the real-life events of the Magnificent Seven, the American women’s gymnastics team that made history with their first-ever team gold medal. Kerri Strug, known for her heroic vault performance despite an injured ankle, will be brought to life by Brown in this gripping film.

Gia Coppola, the director behind The Last Showgirl, is at the helm of this project, with Brown not only starring in the film but also joining the producing team. Netflix is planning for a 2026 shoot for Perfect, with Nik Bower and Thomas Benski producing for Riverstone Pictures and Magna Studios. 30West is on board as an executive producer.
