Netflix Unveils Trailer for “Boots” – LGBTQ+ Teen Marine Series
Netflix just dropped the first trailer for the new show “Boots,” and it looks like it’s going to be a must-watch! The show follows the story of a closeted teen Marine in the 1990s, when being openly gay in the military was illegal.
Based on the memoir “The Pink Marine” by Greg Cope White, “Boots” centers on Cameron Cope, played by Miles Heizer, who joins the Marines with his best friend. The series also features Liam Oh as Ray, Vera Farminga as Barbara, and Max Parker as Sgt. Sullivan, along with a talented supporting cast.
The trailer gives us a sneak peek into the enlistment and boot camp experiences of Cameron and his friend, all set to the iconic tune of George Michael’s “Freedom! ’90.” Exciting, right?
“Boots” is set to premiere on Netflix on October 9, so mark your calendars and get ready to dive into this coming-of-age dramedy. Check out the trailer for a taste of what’s to come!
