2025 Emmy Awards Winners: ‘Adolescence,’ ‘The Pitt,’ ‘The Studio’ – Full List

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards was a star-studded event that celebrated the best of television at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. This year, Apple TV+ scored big with its workplace thriller “Severance,” leading the nominations with 27 nods. Two of the show’s stars, Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman, took home awards for outstanding lead actress and supporting actor in a drama series, respectively. However, HBO Max’s medical drama “The Pitt” snagged the prize for outstanding drama series, with Noah Wyle winning outstanding actor in a drama series and Katherine LaNasa winning outstanding supporting actress in a drama series.

Another standout show of the night was Apple TV+’s new comedy “The Studio,” which secured 23 nominations and took home the award for outstanding comedy series. Star Seth Rogen won outstanding lead actor in a comedy series, and the show also received awards for outstanding directing and writing.

Netflix’s “Adolescence” was nominated in 13 categories and won outstanding limited or anthology series, with teen star Owen Cooper and co-creator Stephen Graham winning for their performances and writing, respectively.

Other major winners included “Hacks” star Jean Smart, who won outstanding lead actress in a comedy series, and “Somebody Somewhere” star Jeff Hiller, who took home the award for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series.

Several stars from the Bay State were nominated as well, with TV icons Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen receiving the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award for their philanthropic efforts.
