John Ortiz Promoted to Series Regular for Season 2 of ‘Bad Monkey’ on Apple TV+

John Ortiz, known for his role in American Fiction, is set to become a series regular in Season 2 of Apple TV+’s Bad Monkey. The show, executive produced by Bill Lawrence and starring Vince Vaughn, is based on Carl Hiaasen’s novel. It follows Andrew Yancy, played by Vaughn, a former Miami cop turned health inspector who stumbles upon a murder case involving a human arm.

In Season 2, Ortiz will reprise his role as Rogelio, a police detective and Yancy’s best friend. John Malkovich will also join as Spencer, the leader of a criminal organization in South Florida.
