Coolie Hits OTT Platform: Rajinikanth Starrer Premieres on Prime Video in 4 Languages

Coolie created quite a stir before it even hit theaters, mainly because it marked the first-time collaboration between Superstar Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. And with stars like Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Sathyaraj on board, the anticipation only grew. The film was released on August 14, 2025, alongside War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, and received a mixed response from viewers. Now, after a successful 25-day run in theaters, Coolie is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Hindi version will be made available after the 8-week theatrical-to-OTT window. It will be interesting to see how audiences on streaming platforms will react to the film.
