Law & Order: Organized Crime Review

I don’t remember exactly when I started watching “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” It feels like I’ve always been watching it, but truth be told, it probably just started playing after I finished the 26th season of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” which is its spinoff. Over the summer, I met someone who works on the show, and when I shared my enthusiasm for it, he was surprised and mentioned I was the first person he knew who watched it. We even high-fived. So, for those who haven’t checked it out yet, here’s the scoop on “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” now available exclusively on Peacock. Overall, it’s not the best TV show I’ve seen—tonally off, all over the place narratively, and reliant on cameos from other “Law & Order” characters to prop it up. Despite its flaws, I’m completely drawn in. I’ll probably binge-watch all five seasons by the end of the year.
