Apple TV+ Price Hike Won’t Lead to Cancelation: One Issue to Address
Apple TV+ recently raised its monthly fee from £8.99 to £9.99 in the UK, and from $9.99 to $12.99 in the USA, with immediate effect. While no one likes price increases, Apple TV+ still offers great value compared to other streaming services.
Unlike Amazon Prime Video, which has introduced ads, Apple TV+ remains ad-free. Some competitors offer tiered pricing with ads, but Apple TV+ keeps it simple with a higher-quality, ad-free experience at a reasonable price.
Even after the price hike, Apple TV+ remains more affordable than top-tier packages from Netflix and Disney+. Plus, Apple TV+ stands out for its original programming, which has kept me more engaged than any other platform this year.
However, one issue that stands out is the inconsistency in streaming quality, especially in dark scenes. As Apple TV+ continues to invest in original content, addressing this issue and improving streaming quality could make it even more appealing to viewers like me.
Overall, with its competitive pricing, ad-free experience, and compelling original programming, Apple TV+ remains a strong contender in the streaming service landscape.
