Suspect Sought After Dog is Shot and Killed with Rifle in Hawaii
Police in West Oahu are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a tragic incident where a dog was fatally shot. The terrible event took place at approximately 10:30 p.m. near Sewers Beach, following an argument between the suspect and another individual over a 10-year-old pit bull. The suspect allegedly used a rifle to shoot the dog before making a getaway in a van.
Authorities rushed the injured dog to a nearby veterinarian, but sadly, the beloved animal could not be saved. In response to this act of animal cruelty, the police have initiated an investigation to bring the perpetrator to justice.

The Hawaiian Humane Society has expressed its deep sadness over the dog’s death, condemning any form of violence against animals. The society is working hand in hand with the Honolulu Police Department to assist in the investigation by conducting a necropsy on the deceased dog.
