Zimbabwe faced a tough start, losing Takudzwanashe Kaitano (0) and Nick Welch (4) quickly after Bennett’s departure. Despite the early setbacks, experienced players Sean Williams (45) and Craig Ervine (24) stepped up to take the team to 94/2 at Lunch.
In the first innings, Lhuan-Dre Pretorius and Corbin Bosch played outstanding innings to guide South Africa past the 400-run mark after a shaky start.
