Bert Kreischer Stars in Netflix Comedy Series
Co-creators Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel are teaming up for an exciting new sitcom on Netflix called Free Bert. The show, starring Bert Kreischer himself, has been ordered for six episodes. Known for his stand-up comedy specials on Netflix, Kreischer will play a version of himself in the series— a “shirtless comedian, party legend, perpetual wildcard.”
The story follows Bert as he navigates unfamiliar territory when his daughters are accepted into an elite private school in Beverly Hills. As his wild antics start to alienate his family, Bert decides to tone down his wild side and try to fit in by putting on a shirt. Along with Arden Myrin, Lilou Lang, and Ava Ryan, the cast is set to bring this comedy to life.
Aside from his stand-up specials, Kreischer has also made appearances on WWE Raw and Netflix’s NFL coverage. With the addition of Free Bert, Netflix continues to expand its lineup of comedian-led comedies, including other upcoming shows like Tires (Shane Gillis), Survival of the Thickest (Michelle Buteau), and Leanne (Leanne Morgan). The streaming platform has also renewed Tom Segura’s sketch show, Bad Thoughts.
Fans of Kreischer and comedy enthusiasts alike will be eagerly awaiting the premiere of Free Bert as it promises to deliver laughs and entertainment in the signature style of this talented comedian.
