Jessi Ngatikaura talks about Demi skipping reunion in ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’
Jessi Ngatikaura, one of the stars of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” recently shared her frustration over co-star Demi Engemann missing the Season 2 reunion. Speaking exclusively with The Post, Ngatikaura mentioned how disappointed she was that Engemann didn’t show up, especially since everyone was eager for answers.
Ngatikaura explained that she had to make a big sacrifice to attend the reunion, rearranging her schedule and disappointing many students who had flown in to learn from her during a hair class she was teaching that weekend. Despite her annoyance, Ngatikaura acknowledged that everyone has different situations, and fans can expect some clarity from Engemann indirectly during the reunion.
Engemann, on the other hand, stated during an Instagram Q&A that she missed the reunion because she was at Disneyland with her family, and couldn’t reschedule due to prior commitments. With Engemann absent, Ngatikaura shared that Whitney Leavitt took the spotlight during the reunion, likely because she was Engemann’s main supporter among the cast.
According to Ngatikaura, the cast used the reunion as an opportunity to air out their grievances and resolve any lingering issues. She hinted that viewers can anticipate a lot of answers and closure from the reunion, along with hints of what’s to come in future episodes.
During the Season 2 finale, there was drama when Marciano Brunette from “Vanderpump Villa” made allegations about an affair. Ngatikaura revealed that she found out about these claims while filming the next season, leading to emotional moments as she processed the unfolding events.
Despite the challenges, Ngatikaura expressed excitement for fans to watch the reunion and upcoming season to see how everything plays out. She’s looking forward to viewers witnessing her journey through the ups and downs of the show.
