Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’ Coming to HBO Max Soon
Get ready for some excitement because Ryan Coogler’s latest hit movie, “Sinners,” is coming to HBO Max next month. This vampire epic will be available for streaming worldwide exclusively on HBO Max starting on July 4, 2025. If you prefer to watch it on HBO linear, mark your calendars for July 5 at 8:00pm ET.
The film, which features Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers Smoke and Stack, is already available on Digital with a physical media release scheduled for July 8. The story follows the brothers as they try to escape their troublesome pasts by returning to their hometown, only to encounter a sinister force awaiting their arrival.
The star-studded cast of “Sinners” includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, and Delroy Lindo. It was written and directed by Ryan Coogler, who previously worked on films like “Black Panther” and “Creed.”
The production is a family affair with Zinzi Coogler also serving as a producer alongside Sev Ohanian. The score, composed by Academy Award winner Ludwig Göransson, adds an electrifying element to the film.
In my 4-star review, I mentioned that Coogler’s venture into horror excels at connecting audiences with the characters, leading to a thrilling and suspenseful climax. The film’s use of music as a conduit enhances the overall experience, making it a standout horror film.
Don’t miss out on watching “Sinners” this Fourth of July holiday on HBO Max and HBO.
