Netflix Love on the Spectrum’s Pari Kim visit to Cape Cod: Event Details

Pari Kim, a vibrant personality from Netflix’s “Love on the Spectrum,” is heading to Cape Cod on June 19. She’ll be sharing her experiences as a person with autism who attended Lesley University in Cambridge, as well as her passion for the MBTA and trains. You might recognize her as purpleprincesspari on Instagram, where she has a following of 193,000 fans who eagerly stop her for selfies on the T.

If you’re interested in meeting Pari Kim in person, you can catch her at the Chatham Orpheum on June 19 at 7 p.m. for a fundraiser benefiting Cape Abilities and The Grateful Mug. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through the theater’s website.

The event will include a screening of the award-winning film “Autism Goes to College,” followed by a panel discussion with director Erik Linthorst and local autism advocates. Special guests also include Lisa Genova, author of “Love, Anthony,” who will introduce the event.

Pari Kim will be accompanied by her girlfriend Tina Zhu Xi Caruso, and they have been on exciting adventures together, including riding on a train-themed float in the WEHO Pride Parade in California. Despite facing challenges as members of both the autistic and LGBTQ communities, Kim’s positive attitude and intelligence shine through in everything she does.

Looking ahead, Kim hopes to land an internship at the MBTA and eventually use her animation and motion media skills. Her love for drawing and animation has inspired her to merge her passion for characters like princesses, fairies, and mermaids with her fascination for trains.

While basking in the social media spotlight after her appearance on “Love on the Spectrum,” Kim remains grateful for the support and love she receives from fans. She encourages everyone to stay positive, ignore negativity, and embrace their unique abilities and potential.

Don’t miss the chance to meet Pari Kim and hear her inspiring story on June 19 at the Chatham Orpheum. It’s a night of celebration, advocacy, and empowerment that you won’t want to miss!
