Stream Bono’s New EP “Stories Of Surrender”
Bono fans, get excited! Island Records just dropped the ‘Stories Of Surrender EP’, a special 3-track Live EP featuring U2 frontman Bono. This EP is a companion to the newly released Apple Original Film, ‘Bono: Stories of Surrender’, which is now available on Apple TV+.
What can you expect from this EP? Live recordings of three iconic U2 songs: Desire, The Showman, and Sunday Bloody Sunday. These tracks were captured during Bono’s one-man stage show, inspired by his popular memoir ‘Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story’.
Joining Bono on this EP are talented musicians Gemma Doherty on Harp, Keyboard, and Vocals, Kate Ellis on Cello, Keyboard, and Vocals, and Musical Director Jacknife Lee.
The film ‘Bono: Stories of Surrender’ made its worldwide debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. And if you’re looking for a deeper dive, there’s also an abridged paperback version of Bono’s autobiography, ‘Bono: Stories of Surrender’, with a new introduction by the man himself, published by Penguin Random House.
‘Stories Of Surrender EP’ is available digitally on May 30th. For vinyl lovers, a 7″ black vinyl will be out on May 30th (for Ireland, UK, and Germany) and on June 13th for the Rest of the World.
