Will Catlett joins cast of Peacock’s Crystal Lake: Exclusive
Nexus Point News can confirm that Will Catlett has been added to the main cast of the highly-anticipated Friday the 13th prequel series, Crystal Lake. In the show, Catlett will take on the role of Levon Brooks, the chief of police in Crystal Lake. Fans may recognize Catlett from his work on Black Lightning and True Story, as well as his recent appearances in horror films like Abigail and Never Let Go.
The upcoming series will delve into the backstory of Pamela Voorhees and the events leading up to the tragic demise of her son, Jason. Brad Caleb Kane, known for Tokyo Vice, is the mastermind behind the show, serving as creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer. The talented Michael Lennox, from Derry Girls, has been tapped as the director and executive producer. Production is scheduled to kick off in June in New Jersey.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Linda Cardellini had also joined the cast, taking on the role of Pamela. Crystal Lake is a joint project between A24 and Peacock, with A24 spearheading the development. Fans can look forward to the series hitting screens in the near future.
