Will Forte, Colin Jost, Kumail Nanjiani to Star in Nate Bargatze’s Comedy Film ‘The Breadwinner’
Nate Bargatze has landed an all-star lineup for his first feature film, “The Breadwinner.”
Starring alongside Bargatze will be Will Forte, Colin Jost, Kumail Nanjiani, Zach Cherry, Kate Berlant, and Martin Herlihy. The film, directed by Eric Appel and produced by TriStar Pictures, will start filming next week in Atlanta.
The story follows Bargatze’s character, whose life takes a humorous turn when his wife, played by Mandy Moore, strikes a deal on “Shark Tank.” As the primary breadwinner of the family, he transforms into a stay-at-home dad and quickly realizes he’s in over his head.
The film, co-written by Bargatze, is set to hit theaters on March 13, 2026. Forte, known for his role on “Saturday Night Live,” recently starred in Netflix’s “Four Seasons” alongside Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Jost’s involvement adds to the star-studded cast, making “The Breadwinner” a must-watch comedy.
