Revival: Trailer, Poster, and Release Date for SYFY’s Image Comics TV Adaptation
New TV series Revival, based on the popular Image Comics title, is set to premiere on SYFY on Thursday, June 12 at 10 p.m. Each episode will be available on Peacock one week after airing.
The show follows the story of a small town in rural Wisconsin where the recently deceased come back to life, but not as zombies. The “revived” act just like they did before, adding a unique twist to the typical undead narrative. When local officer Dana Cypress finds herself in the middle of a mysterious murder, chaos ensues in a town filled with fear and confusion, leaving everyone, living or undead, as a potential suspect.
Revival stars Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen, with recurring guest appearances by Steven Ogg, CM Punk, Gia Sandhu, and more. The series creators Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce serve as showrunners and executive producers, with a strong team of executive producers backing the production.
For those looking forward to Revival, mark your calendars for June 12 and get ready for a fresh take on the undead genre. And if you’re a fan of TV adaptations of beloved comics, Revival might just be your next binge-watch choice!
