Peacock Announces Four New Scripted Shows from Digital Creators

Peacock is set to launch four new original series on May 19, and here’s the twist: all of them were created by digital creators known for their social-first video content. Under the Peacock Emerging Artist Series, viewers can enjoy all episodes of these scripted shows right from the start.

The lineup includes “The Warehouse Phase” by creator Charlie Curtis-Beard, “The Kouncil” by creator Katie Florence, “Older Hotter Wiser” by creator Serena Kerrigan, and “People Like Me” by creator Daren Vongirdner. Deadline first reported the Peacock pickup of “Older Hotter Wiser.”

All four creators participated in NBCUniversal’s Creator Accelerator Program and went on to secure development deals with the company. NBCUniversal’s goal with this program is not only to nurture new talent for potential future projects but also to introduce these creators’ existing fan bases from platforms like Instagram and TikTok to the streaming platform through longer-form content.
