Apple Bundle Including Apple TV+, Music, and News Possibly in Development

Apple is reportedly exploring the idea of offering a bundle that includes Apple TV+, Apple Music, and Apple News+ as part of a new subscription option. This comes as the company aims to boost its services business, which is now its second-largest revenue source. The bundled offering could roll out as early as 2020, according to sources familiar with the matter.

With a focus on expanding its Apple TV+ subscriber base, Apple is currently charging just $4.99 per month for the streaming service, and even offering a free year to customers who purchase new hardware products. This move is part of a bigger push towards services, as iPhone sales have started to decline, while services sales have seen a significant increase.

In light of the recent launch of Disney+ and their bundled offering with Hulu and ESPN+, priced at $12.99 per month, Apple may need to make some pricing adjustments to stay competitive. Disney revealed it signed up 10 million subscribers on launch day alone, showcasing its popularity right out of the gate.

While Apple has not confirmed these plans, a potential bundle of subscription services could be in the works to attract new customers and grow its services business further. Like Disney, Apple may be looking at new ways to offer value to consumers in the ever-growing streaming entertainment landscape.
