Canceling Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Paramount+ Subscriptions in April 2025

I’m hitting pause on my Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Paramount+ subscriptions in April 2025 – and here are the three streaming services I’m sticking with instead.

I can’t contain my excitement for Netflix’s upcoming lineup, especially with two returning shows that have me on the edge of my seat.

As we navigate through the ever-increasing cost of living, one area to consider cutting back on is your streaming service subscriptions. With a plethora of options like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Max, Peacock, and Paramount+, it can be overwhelming to keep up with everything they offer. Subscription hopping has become a popular strategy to save money while still enjoying all your favorite content.

Managing your subscriptions doesn’t have to be complicated. By rotating through different services each month, you can find significant savings without sacrificing the shows and movies you love. By regularly evaluating the latest titles on top platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Max, as well as mid-sized options like Peacock and Paramount+, you can make informed decisions about which subscriptions to keep and which to cancel.

I’ll admit, my Netflix subscription often collects dust for months. But with exciting releases like the return of Black Mirror season 7 and the final season of You coming up in April, I’m definitely keeping my Netflix subscription. Black Mirror is set to drop two new episodes that are sure to spark conversation, while the last season of You promises to deliver a thrilling conclusion to Joe Goldberg’s story. Plus, new Netflix Originals like the medical drama Pulse and Ransom Canyon are adding to the already impressive lineup.

In a world where every penny counts, managing your streaming subscriptions can be a smart way to save money without sacrificing the entertainment you love. So, as I bid farewell to some subscriptions in April, I’m looking forward to diving into the exciting content that Netflix has to offer.
