April 2025 Netflix Departures
It’s that time again! April is coming up fast, and with it, some movies and series will be saying goodbye to Netflix in the US. We’ve got a full list of what’s on the chopping block, including some Netflix Originals in addition to the usual end-of-the-month turnover.
Just a quick reminder, Netflix takes down titles when their licensing agreements expire, which can vary from a month to several years. Keep in mind that these removals are subject to change if renewals happen, and most of these movies will likely make a comeback on Netflix down the road.
According to Netflix, their decisions to remove content are based on factors such as the availability of rights, popularity in a region, and licensing costs. We’ll be updating this list continuously throughout March and into April, as we find out about more departures roughly 30 days before they leave.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on the way out:
Movies Leaving Netflix on April 1st include classics like “An Affair to Remember” (1957), alongside newer hits like “Interstellar” (2014), and family favorites like “How to Train Your Dragon” (2010).
Series Leaving Netflix on April 1st will include the first season of “Nickelodeon’s House of Anubis” and all four seasons of “Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files”.
But the departures don’t stop there! Keep an eye out for Netflix Originals like “The Menu” (2022) and “LA Originals” (2020) leaving on April 1st and April 10th, respectively.
Don’t miss out on watching these titles before they disappear! Let us know which ones you’re planning to catch before they go, and stay tuned for more updates on what’s leaving Netflix in April.
