Amazon Prime sponsors Chase Elliott’s car in NASCAR

Amazon Prime is revving up its involvement in NASCAR by sponsoring Chase Elliott’s car for three races a year from 2025 to 2027. This partnership with Hendrick Motorsports aims to shine a spotlight on Prime Video’s exciting Cup Series rights deal that kicks off this season. While the exact financial details remain under wraps, fans can expect to see Elliott’s No. 9 Chevrolet sporting Amazon Prime’s signature blue and white colors, complete with a “NASCAR on Prime” logo teasing “Streaming May 2025” on the rear bumper.

At just 29 years old, Elliott’s popularity soared when he nabbed the “Most Popular Driver” title for the seventh year running in 2024. Amazon’s sponsorship debut will take place at Talladega on April 27th before a brief pause for the Texas race, with the final two events of 2025 happening in mid-May at Kansas and the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro.

Stacey Rosenson, Amazon’s director and head of U.S. sports marketing, expressed excitement about this collaboration, calling it a thrilling extension of their NASCAR venture. With Elliott’s impressive racing record and massive fan base, Amazon can’t wait to see the No. 9 Prime Video team in action as they gear up for their streaming debut in May.

The five-race streaming streak is set to kick off at the Coca-Cola 600 on May 25th, with Prime also streaming practice and qualifying sessions for most of the races where Fox Sports holds the rights, including the Cook-Out Clash, Daytona 500 week, and the All-Star Race. NASCAR’s recent media rights deals with four major partners are estimated to total a staggering $1.1 billion over the next seven years.
